wrote on July 21, 2022 at 6:48 pm Fabulously fresh and clean, extremely well equipped and the most huge and comfy bed! We were made to feel very welcome and we absolutely loved exploring the local sites and stunning beaches. Would love to come back!

wrote on May 28, 2021 at 8:27 pm Thank you so much Richard and Theresa for our wonderful weekend stay at The Lodge. As mentioned in other reviews the Lodge is a cosy little home from home with more than enough space for 2. The little extra touches were very much appreciated. Yes, you do have to watch the headroom upstairs and the stairs are a little steep but nothing to worry about at all.
Like so many other guests we will be making a return visit to The Lodge.

wrote on April 11, 2021 at 4:49 pm Very impressed from the time we arrived to the time we left . Loads of nice touches Such as local milk , bread and eggs . There was plenty of items there for the two breakfasts . coffee maker with a choice of pods Bed was so comfy actually had a lie in which is a first for me as normally up by 4.30 . Location in Newcastle Emlyn is great as only a five min walk to local shops and bars . place was spotlessly clean . linen etc was of a high quality. we really enjoyed our stay and happy to recommend to other many thanks again Steve and Hayley April 2021

wrote on January 23, 2021 at 3:53 pm Sadly had to attend my father in laws funeral but obviously due to covid couldn't all stay at my mother in laws and happened to find The Lodge which is just at the other end of town to where my in laws live so was ideal.
It’s a lovely cosy house, ideal for a small families with fabulous little added extras.
Beds very comfy, which for me is a first as usually due to my bad back I always have problems.
Shower was lovely and hot and was adjustable which may sound silly but for a short person it really helps.
Highly likely to book again as so convenient for our needs plus my little granddaughter really wants to come and stay here next time, lol.

wrote on September 30, 2020 at 5:51 pm We stayed at the Lodge for a few days to give ourselves a short break, and to banish the Covid gloom! The Lodge is ideally placed to explore West Wales, and is everything one could hope for. It's spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and very comfortable indeed. Theresa and Richard were very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. Our expectations were handsomely exceeded, and others in the hospitality business need to take note; this is how it should be done! We were sad to leave, and will definitely make an early return. Highly recommended.
wrote on September 6, 2020 at 6:25 pm Fantastic hosts - couldn’t be more accommodating. Spotlessly clean accommodation with its own patio area. Lovely to find fresh bread, free-range eggs, butter and milk on arrival along with a selection of cereal and coffee. Fluffy white robes, towels and slippers along with toiletries were an excellent finishing touch. Set on a steep hill so maybe not suitable for those with mobility difficulties but otherwise in easy walking distance of whole town. Free WiFi and being able to log into our own Netflix account made this a cosy home from home.

wrote on August 10, 2020 at 10:37 am A very comfortable, well equipped accommodation that is ideal for a short break. Being situated close to the town centre made it possible to enjoy some take aways! Perfect position to travel to the beautiful cardigan coast and countryside. Super bedroom with an enormous bed and a second bathroom. The goodies left as a welcome pack were delicious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
The stairs are steep.

Self contained accommodation, walking distance to town. Cardigan coast with its beautiful beaches not far away.
The stairs were a bit steep which could be a problem for some people . This is included in the description of The Lodge.

Accommodation is of a very high standard and owners Theresa and Richard have gone the extra mile to make you feel at home with a welcome breakfast and robes and slippers in the bathroom. Great base to explore the area with its beautiful scenery and in easy reach of the West Wales coast. Diolch yn fawr. Thank you both hope to be back soon. xx

Good location for West Wales.

Lots of lovely ‘extras’ breakfast supplies , bathroom robes, toiletries, wood for fire, the most amazing comfy bed complete with electric blanket. Lovely hosts - very tranquil location just 1 minute walk into town.

wrote on February 5, 2020 at 7:35 pm Theresa and Richard welcomed me in person even though I was later than I anticipated. They showed early dither beautiful annex and also helped me plug my electric car into the outside socket—areal plus being able to charge my car up whilst on vacation. The annex is stunning and full of thoughtful touches. The wood burner was set and ready to go, dressing gown, slippers etc laid out and breakfast of bread, milk, tea and coffee, juice and cereal all provided. Warm, spacious, clean and quiet accommodation. I loved it thank you.
